Music games @ Sea World

San Diego DDR and ITG players that are in-the-know probably know that there's a DDR USA which has a DDR 3rd Mix header in Coco Loco Games at Sea World San Diego (better known as "the video arcade" or "the carnival games area"). Just recently, two other music games were installed that might grab a gamer's attention - Guitar Hero Arcade and In The Groove 2.

Before all you players start thinking that the MIKE from San-tizzle is going to come out of retirement to pwn all these scoreboards, it should be noted that I currently work at Coco Loco Games and therefore am not even allowed to play the games there. What I really hope to accomplish with this post is to get some of my old DDR/ITG and GH friends to show our guests and my fellow team members what REAL DDR/ITG/GH skills look like, since I'm not able to convince the leadership here on the idea of me doing it myself! So if you plan on visiting Sea World San Diego this summer, stop on by the games area and say hi! And if I'm not there, tell all the employees MIKE from Santee sent you!

MIKEfromSantee.com plans

Welcome to MIKEfromSantee.com, v. 2.0! It's been a while since I last did anything with my website, which I had to take down for a while due to monetary issues. Now it's back up, though, and I'm basically re-working it from the ground up. It heavily emphasized my Dance Dance Revolution exploits before, but as I have moved on from the DDR scene I think it's more appropriate to use this webspace as a general place for all things MIKE from Santee. So while there will definitely be a section for my past DDR life, I will be slowly adding sections for my younger years as well as sections for newer projects; for taking care of business stuff like my current jobs, to personal projects like testing out the latest technologies, and of course for things like my crazy drifting antics in Mario Kart Wii and advertising for my laser tagging friends at Atlantis Laser Tag. So feel free to leave comments and suggestions if you wish!
